The largest HoReCa coffee roaster in Russia has been operating since 2008. They have a range of over 50 coffee varieties from around the world, which they roast every day using modern equipment.
In addition to coffee production, they also brew coffee in their cafés, publish a coffee magazine, conduct continuous research, and participate in exhibitions and championships.
Production
A warehouse with adjustable temperature and humidity helps slow down the aging process of green coffee beans.
They use the best roasters such as Probat, Loring, and Diedrich with various loading capacities, allowing them to roast different types of coffee and bring out its maximum potential.
An optical color sorter called SOVDA takes a picture of each coffee bean and removes all defective ones, including chipped, quakers, and others.
They monitor the overall roasting time, unload temperature, development time after the "crack" using Cropster.
Laser colorimeters called ColorTrack are used to control the color of the beans.
Sustainable Development
They annually calculate their total carbon footprint from their activities, including all stages of logistics, and analyze how to effectively reduce it. Their goal is to become fully CO₂-neutral by 2022 and implement other modern practices that impact the environment positively.
They use up to 50% of electricity from renewable energy sources.
Each year, they plant trees to offset the remaining carbon footprint they can't yet reduce.
They take back packaging from customers and create UPCYCLED merchandise from it.
They deliver coffee in reusable containers within their region.
In their plans, by the end of 2024, they aim to move to a new production facility built and certified to LEED standards and fully transition to recyclable or biodegradable packaging.
