Camera Obscura Coffee

Obscura Coffee Company, founded in 2012 by Pavel Zhuravlev, Dmitry Pintelyin, and Nikolai Chistyakov, started as a small craft coffee roastery in Moscow, supplying coffee to just a handful of establishments. At that time, finding high-quality coffee in the city was a rarity, and they had to build the specialty coffee industry from the ground up. They pioneered new methods, sourcing coffee directly from farmers in Central America and navigating the challenges of importing, roasting, and selling coffee in a market where demand for exceptional coffee was still nascent.

As the years passed, Obscura grew steadily, expanding their operations. They established their own retail outlets, developed a robust online presence, and set up their roasting facility, becoming a prominent player in Moscow's coffee scene. With 19 coffee shops, a network of wholesale partners, and their coffee available in stores and online platforms, they continue to roast fresh batches daily, explore the world for the finest coffee beans, and remain dedicated to constant learning and progress, ensuring a high-quality coffee experience for their customers.
